You have to be Crazy at Times.....

......to make GREAT memories! 
Ian has love, passion, and ADDICTION to Legos.  He spends hours in his room creating his own creations, making lego sets, and recreating objects, places, and people.
Ian has taken interest in a Lego Artist.  His name is Nathan Sawaya, called the Brick Artist.  He was a lawyer who gave up his career to follow his passion.  His art is now touring galleries across the United States.   He closest his exhibits would get to us was Cape Girardeau, MO,  3 1/2 hours away.
7-8 hour road trip for a 30 minute tour did NOT stop the Shads.  We invited Ian's friend, Lawson and off we went.  The BOYS loved it and even Chloe.  The exhibit had about 23 pieces of art.  It is pretty amazing.

These are just some of the pieces we saw.  You can see more of his pieces when you look at Nathan's Gallary.  After our brief tour we headed to Lambert's (the roll throwing restaurant) for an early dinner.  It was a blast.  It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
Not many daddys/husbands would spend his Saturday driving 3 kids around all day.  I am very thankful for my man and the memories he helps create for my kiddoes
