This is the first Valentines in 12 years that Chad and I have not been together. So I thought I would be sappy and make this the topic of my next blog. So for the 12 Valentines we have had, here are 12 things that I love and miss about Chad this Valentine's Day.
1. I love it when Chad rolls around on the livingroom floor with our kids, making them laugh and squeal. One of my favorite sounds.
2. When Chad tucks the kids in bed and me too! :)
3. The way he has always valued our marriage first and that I was his wife first. He is great about not letting me or the kids forget that.
4. He has become the leader, man, provider, and caretaker of our home and family. Providing us with the value and priorities God wants us to have.
5. His intuition in knowing when I need for him to bring home a pizza for dinner.
6. The admiration and love our kids have in their eyes and hearts for their hero and dad.
7. Always willing to help without complaining or being asked. (when he left for a 3 month stretch, he hired a house cleaner to help me)
8. Someone to watch Extreme Home Makeovers with every Sunday night.
9. His emails of support, encouragement and love (yes we are a computer geek family)
10. Daddy's homecoming every night is the highlight of our day.
11. Him loving me for who I am and even through all my faults
12. His cell phone ringing off the hook, his snap cracking ankles, and his snoring. Ha Ha!
