I had a mommy moment today. It was a day that helped me process the thought, that Ian is not a toddler but a big boy. The first 5 years have FLOWN by and they have been some of the BEST years. Man, have they been a BLAST too! I knew that all of his winter pants were getting a little short but today really brought it home.
Ian brought home his first BIG school project. Kindergardner with HOMEWORK. We have to create (or should I say, HE has to create) a 3D dinosaur of some sort. Also a poster that has facts about his dinosaur. We have till Monday to finish this project. Check this blog later next week for some pictures.
Lately the statement around here has been . . . "Ian, get your fingers out of your mouth!" Well tonight during our bedtime story, Ian had his figers in his mouth. Come to find out, one of his bottom tooth is loose. Wow! I do not think I am ready to pull teeth.

Well the biggest thing that has happened in this household, has been a spiritual lesson for everyone. Ian came home from school upset last week. The more I dug, the more up set. Come to find out, he was not kind to one of his buddies at school. He was sooooo upset about it and could not get over it. Mommy was trying to find a way for her son to feel better. But his heart was heavy and the only way he was going to get better was to PURGE his heart. He made a card for his friend saying he was sorry and asking for forgiveness. We got in the car and delivered it. Then still in the driveway, he prayed and asked God to forgive him. The boy felt 100% better and was hyper the rest of the day. I can not explain the feeling but WOW!! Praise God!
The power of prayer and forgiveness . . . II John 4 "It gives me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us."
