No Longer Little

Chloe Louise Jacobs, who makes me smile everyday, turned 8 years old on Good Friday.  She has been a sweet innocent little girl who plays with stuffed animals and adores her brother.   Over the past 6 months she quietly plays in her room with lip gloss, mommy's high heels and her American Girl Doll. She has had this doll since she was 3 but it did not "come to life" till just a few months ago

She was so excited about turing 8 this year.  She wanted a Big Girl Bike, an Apron, and an American Girl Doll Party.   I pulled out all my 4th July decorating and used it for the American theme.

The girls made necklaces and bracelets for them and their dolls.   Then they painted little wooden boxes to put their jewelry in.   We had MINI pizzas and MINI cupcakes made by Sarah O'Leary.

It was a sweet group of girls that Chloe picked to come.  They were all so nice and so polite and so GROWN UP.  The conversation around the table was different.   Chloe also inclued a 1 1/2 year old to her party named Emma.  She was amazing, sat at the table for over an hour doing the crafts that all the girls were doing and really hung in there with "the gurlz".
Man, I love this girl and I am so blessed to have call me Mommy.  Happy Birthday, Chloe!!
