Crossfit and Life Style

Almost 2 1/2 years ago, Chad and I got introduced to Crossfit.  It was LOVE at first ...... Boody Kick.   Chad had done his first Marathon but was wanting to start 1/2 Ironman Races.  So for Christmas 08 I thought I would get him a trainer.  After asking around everyone recommended Crossfit.  
Chad did his first Marathon and hurt all over for about 2 days.  Chad did his first 1/2 Ironman and walked away with a sunburn.  Chad gives 90% credit to Crossfit.  Only working out 20-40 minutes, 1 day a week, I am more fit now then I was when I played basketball in high school.
Well now that we have learned the techniques, we thought about trying to build up our own Croossfit equipment so that we could have access to the "workouts" more then the once a week we were going to the gym to do it.   There are still 3 more pieces we want to get.  I am really excited about our next purchases....the pull up bar.  There is something that I have been wanting to accomplish sooooooo bad but do not get to practice enough.   Butterfly Pull Ups .   I will NOT be posting a You Tube if I ever do .  :)
Just in the last 4 months we have add the Crossfit "lifestyle".  Paleo eating...no sugar and no gluten.  Chad is No dairy.  I still have cheese.   We are NOT Die Hard Super Freaks about it.   We go out with friends and order pizza every now and then.  We are slowly working our kiddoes into it.  I do not know what the next four months will look like.
