Down and Out
Monday 20 minutes before school got out, the school secretary said that Ian was complaining of a head ache and was running 101 fever. Got into see the pediatrician and the flu and strep tests came back negative. They said his ears and throat were red. So we got an antibotic and went home. For the next 8 hours Ian's temperature would not budge from 103. His head was KILLING him. He laid in my bed, whimpered and cried till 3 AM when he finally passed out. For the past 2 days he runs a low grade temp till about 7 at night and then it climbs back to 103. We went back to the pediatician and they checked for pnemonia and that was negative. We upped him Antibotic and we will have to see what tonight holds. It is a helpless feeling not know what is going on in his body.
